I have always wanted to be a teacher. Nothing else seemed like it fitted me. I love kids and love to be around them. When I got into high school and you really have to think about your future and what you want to do. I joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters program (BBBS) when I was a sophomore. This program with BBBS was not the actual BBBS it was their buddy program. So we weren't considered a brother or sister we were buddies. When I got there I really had never been like teacher or help someone with their homework. The boy that I was paired with was amazing. I come from a small town so most of us knew each other. It was an awesome experience and I that was the thing that really sold me on teaching. I can't imagine doing anything else with my life and I know that my experience there really helped me realize that I wanted to help children and teach them.
